Unfortunately, while visiting a Walt Disney World theme park, you might find yourself needing medical attention or baby care supplies.
The Baby Center and First Aid is located to the left of the Crystal Palace and next to the restrooms. If you ever need assistance of any kind, make sure to seek out a cast member as soon as possible. Depending on the season, it shouldn’t be more than a 15-minute walk to the First Aid Center from anywhere in the park.
The lobby is a comfortable space decorated in a modern Victorian style. The check-in area is located across the room with a sign-in sheet and a bell for service. The center is staffed by registered nurses who can offer minor triage services as well as temporary care until emergency help can arrive.
What are the most treated ailments? I asked one of the nurses and she said that they treat sunburn, insect bites and dehydration the most.
Some incidents can be treated in house. After check-in, the staff will lead you to an area with hospital-style beds, restrooms and other medical amenities. On a recent visit, one of our party was suffering from mild dehydration and spent a few hours in the First Aid Center recuperating. The staff was very understanding and comforting.
The First Aid and Baby Care Center also offers private areas for taking care of babies. There are changing tables, rocking chairs and supplies for sale. The most popular brand of diapers and formula are kept on hand.
